Increasingly stringent legislation on the use of diesel vehicles is accelerating the electrification of buses and trucks.

EQUANS is one of the world leaders in Operational Support Systems dedicated to bus fleet operators for day-to-day management of operations and traffic regulation. This solution, coupled with charging stations, optimises battery charge levels and overall electricity consumption.

For heavy goods vehicles, EQUANS also offers in-station charging solutions and is involved in the deployment of Dynamic Charging solutions. The concept is to allow these electric vehicles to capture energy via a catenary and recharge their battery while driving. Two trials are taking place in Germany and studies are running in a few countries.
