The Whistleblowing system is a mechanism placed at the disposal of the Group’s employees and stakeholders for reporting actions or behaviors that may compromise individuals’ integrity and/or rights, that may affect the Group’s activities, or create serious liability (health and safety, environment, human rights, individual rights, privacy, etc.).
The whistleblower must be a natural person acting without direct financial counterpart and in good faith.
Whistleblower can report an incident, anonymously or not, through https://equans.besignal.com/.
No retaliatory measures (legal or disciplinary), linked to the alert, will be taken against the whistleblower. However, any abusive or inappropriate use of the whistleblowing system may give rise to further action.
An external service provider receives all the alerts, guaranteeing the confidentiality of any information they contain and fulfilling all legal obligations. Anonymous information is addressed to the Group Ethics, Compliance & Privacy Department for it to be investigated.
Any data collected by the Group whistleblowing system are processed in line with the specific directives of the revised French law dated 6 January 1978 on personal data protection (GDPR). Every precaution have been taken to protect the security of these data whenever they are collected, transmitted, or saved. In accordance with current regulations, any person can ask to access and correct his/her data. It is also possible to exercise these rights by sending an e-mail to privacy@equans.com.
